Kindergarten Orientation is 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018


Friday, June 1st is field day for all students!
Groups will rotate through activities in the school, JFK, the playgrounds and the fields.  Please remember to bring a water bottle, hat, sun screen and sneakers!   

Another Chorus First!

Thank you Mrs Wilkes and all her performers!

Over 40 Beech Street fourth and fifth graders took a bus to Freemont, NH. The Elementary/Middle School Sharing Festival is a non-competitive, day-long event showcasing performing groups from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Beech Street's Chorus showed their Bobcat Pride while performing and did a great job!

Beech St. students in grades 2-5 have been learning how to code computers.

School Hours for Beech Street School are:

8:15am -Breakfast
8:30am -Doors open for all students
8:45am- Instruction begins

Morning Drop Off- -there is no morning supervision. Please do not drop off students before 8:30 AM. Students will enter the building and go directly to their classroom.  

Tardy Bell is at 8:45 AM when teachers take attendance and begin instruction. Students arriving after this bell will have to enter through the office and 

If students are getting breakfast they can enter the building through the cafeteria door at 8:15AM.

Our 21st Century program will start a morning reading program sometime in September. Paperwork will be sent home so parents will know the date it will begin.  Students who attend the morning reading program MUST arrive no earlier than 8:00 AM. They will enter the building using the door to the cafeteria. They will be able to get breakfast.

Dismissal Time:  2:50 PM-Please be on time to pick up your children. There is no after school supervision unless your children are in one of the after school programs.

The WaterProject.org

Thank you to the WaterProject.org for presenting to our 4th graders!
Our Lego Project Presentation and the Water Science Fair will both be held this Spring. Special thanks to Lisa Sullivan our presenter for answering all our questions about rainwater catchment tanks and sand dams.


Our annual International Dinner will be April 19TH at 6:00 pm.  There will be Art and Music provided by our students and families are asked to bring a dish to share. For more information watch for the flier coming home.
